Man, I can't stop publishing friggin' blogs!!! AND Question for you people.

Here is a shot of Alanna and I fronting our soulrock band called ELKAS.

So, as I was saying in my last entry, we're making a new record that should be pretty neat when it's all done. There are about 13 songs sitting there right now. I'm not sure that all the members of the family are there. I need at least one more really upbeat thing. It's pretty mellow as of right now. Here are some titles:

Sweet Nancy
Wall Of Fire
Willpower
Fall Apart Again
Sunlight
Darling, See
We Can Always Take it Easy
Beating Heart

and many more!

Anyway, I hope that you like it. I was thinking of re-doing something from Party Of One, because that thing never really saw the light of day.

QUESTION
In fact, maybe people can let me know what song you would most like to hear re-recorded if any at all. I would prefer to have all new stuff, but let me know. Some have said to do In My Den again. I dunno what do you think?

Comments:
Party of One is an awesome song; more people should hear it

Do a soulful version of "In My Den", just like you did live a couple of times.

I'm liking your addition(s) to the blog. Looking forward to the new album. Make sure you get something on the new album that'll get the cats shakin'. Personally, I'm thinking that 'In My Den' needs to be the 'old' song on the 'new' album. Love the keys. You should try and swing a guest appearance by Garth Hudson (the Man) and toss some organ on that soulful salad. Also, get some of those live songs up.

Looking forward to the CBC show...with Peter Elkas of 'Elkas'. Should be excellent.

In my den kicks ass but one song I cant get enough of is only you. I think that that song would be the perfect album ender- one that would leave the listener craving more. I love the Neil Youngish distortion on that track.

I think I could hear as many versions, remakes, and replays of Build A Harmony as there are people.

The new album sounds swell already
