Bluebird North Tour

Hi guys, I'm home. Just cleaned up my apartment. My parents sold their home in the West Island of MTL, and so my tiny living room now looks like the one I grew up with, only sort of trash-compacted (the actual trash helps roud-out this look). I spent a good part of last week hangin' with some great artists on a touring songwriter's circle called Bluebird North.

Hosted by Shari Ulrich, this leg of the tour featured me, Emm Gryner, Dave Gunning (possibly related to Ben Gunning), and Andy Stochansky. The Montreal date also featured Jonathan Cummins and Cardinal Offishal.

It really was a great time, considering the fact that I really only knew the other artists on a heardofthem basis. There were many laughs and over two days together I earned the reputation of a drinker who could sink the boat at any time. Great. First impressions don't really last though, do they?

Alanna showed up at the Ottawa show and we did Turn Out Da Litez with piano. It was a special one even though our harmonies rubbed a little here and there. We'll get those bugs out though.

I have to go right now and I want to post these photos. They are from the Ottawa show at the National Archives and one is a bunch of us rockin' milkshakes afterwards.

bye ai yaye!

Pete

i know it's a little late, but i think you should absolutely rerecord "turn out the lights" because i've heard it a million times and it still gives me goosebumps. btw saw you in saskatoon last year, and you blew my mind, when are you coming back? i've sold a bunch of my friends on you and we're hurting for a show!
